I love Chicago… and I’ve known that I would move here since I was a little kid running around in my Bears jersey. (ummm I actually grew up in Philadelphia… no idea how I became a Bears fan but I look at it as destiny)
I’ve been all around Europe, I’ve lived in various cities here in the States and it always comes back to one city, Chicago. Those of you who have been following the blog for a while know that I recently moved back up here from Nashville, TN and I’ve been in a state of sheer bliss since getting back. This is my home.
As an homage to my beautiful city, my photo of the day is, “Floating Outside Metropolis.” I shot this one from the boat of one of the always amazing and informative architectural tours. I wanted to give the viewer the effect of floating on Lake Michigan, partially submerged, not a sound to be heard save a few gulls. We have some of the most amazing and one of the most beautiful skylines here in Chicago and I was so excited when this photograph captured it so simply yet so dynamically at the same time.
Enjoy!

Spot on with this write-up, I actually believe that this website needs a
great deal more attention. I’ll probably be returning to read more, thanks for the information!
Thank you!
