Photo of the Day- “Smoke”

The moment I saw this flower, walking through the botanical garden, I knew exactly how I wanted the shot to look… like smoke billowing out from the amazing textured center of the flower.

Today’s Photo of the Day, “Smoke,” was one of the original pieces in my gallery and it remains one of my favorites. So much so that I’ve recently created this canvas quad out of it:
