From "The Perch Series"
Having found a lab who caters to professional photographers and who does an amazing job with metallic prints, I wanted to highlight one of my favorite metallic print sets in today’s post.
The Perch Series, three prints of a single bird I came across in San Francisco’s Botanical Gardens, look absolutely stunning on metallic paper. As mentioned in previous posts, metallic paper has been described as “chrome on paper” as it brings out an almost three-dimensional quality in a photograph.
I have framed these three beautiful prints up in three handmade, handmilled blue frames by David Arnold of DA Custom Frames. All three prints are available in my online gallery in sizes anywhere from 4×4 all the way up to 30×30 as well as available individually.
